Purchase Note: Before purchasing, you need to prepare the chip of W1340A, the product does not come with the chip, you can use our tool to install the chip on the toner cartridge according to the installation of the video.
Please do not touch the chip with a hot soldering iron, this will damage the chip and make it unrecognizable.
Our product comes with a tool, take a look at our video and accompanying pictures that teach how to use the tool to remove the chip by chiseling a chisel through the boundary wall and popping it off from underneath the chip. The new cartridge has a slot that the chip slides right into. If the printer displays an error after inserting the replacement toner cartridge, rotate the chip so that it faces up. Reinsert the replacement toner cartridge.
When you have installed a new chip and then installed it in the HP printer. You have to open the HP Smart application. At the top, you will see a box with your printer graphic and the model number next to it. It will have a symbol with a ! triangle.
Click on the box or the printer icon and it will show you the printer status, options, tools, and advanced. Go to Advanced and under Advanced go to Advanced Settings. It will show the device status, which includes a summary of supplies.
You will see a blue box that says “Reply Details”. If you turn it on, you'll see the number of pages printed, but you can't reset it. You'll want to check it to see how many pages were printed from the last toner cartridge to the start of the new one.
