Product Details

Copper "Serrated" pattern bezel wire is smooth and malleable. Treat it as you would any other copper. It can be soldered and oxidized like any other bare copper. This copper bezel wire fires well with BRONZclay and bronze sheet and findings, offering you a wider range of design options. It can be used in multi-metal designs by soldering it to silver or brass. This is bare copper that is ready to accept your desired finish or polish. You may also use it as is. One Recommended Use: Measure cabochon and cut bezel wire to size. Solder. Place cabochon in soldered bezel to shape. Remove cabochon and solder bezel to a bottom plate. Remove extra metal and decorate as desired, finish and polish. Place cabochon in finished bezel and fold the prongs over the top of the cabochon to secure it in the setting. Add decorative design elements to a wide variety of jewelry designs and cabochon settings with this intricate Copper bezel wire. This serrated-looking bezel is ideal for custom settings. This wire is delicate and should be handled carefully. The harder the metal is after finishing your design, the brighter a finish it will take. The wire is packaged in coils and in a reuseable plastic bag.
